How many times have you been shopping and found the perfect shirt?

Something that makes you feel unique and captures your individuality?

It’s hard to find a witty, clever, well-designed shirt.

But you did it.

And then you go to school, only to find that everyone else found that same shirt.

What Happened?!

The problem is that many of your peers have the same idea about humor and fashion, and they, too, wanted to propagate humor and individuality. But when everyone is telling the same joke, it stops being funny. How can you combat this?

Make Your Own

You might not think of yourself as a particularly creative person, but there are easy ways that you can customize every part of your attire. If individuality is what you seek, there is no other way to ensure that your outfits will have it without customizing.

Before you rush to your local screen-printing business (if you happen to have one in your area,) consider that the cheapest, highest-quality options might be right at your fingertips. Using an online custom clothing website has never been easier.

Where To Start

Firstly, even in the world of customized t-shirts and other apparel, there are the more “popular” and “mainstream” websites. These sites offer funny t-shirts, but the chances are good that someone in your school or workplace is already buying apparel there.

As we mentioned, the only way to ensure that your designs are totally different is to make them yourself. Think of something unique – an inside joke, perhaps, or a nickname and animation. Then find a website that will enable you to design your perfect clothing.

Why Stop There?!

Once you have gotten the hang of how the custom clothing thing works, you can personalize anything. There are websites that offer personalized hoodies, hats, pillowcases – even custom underwear! There is really no limit to special you can make your appearance.

These are also a great option for gifts. You can get your buddy a pillow case that references their favorite viral video, or your boyfriend/girlfriend a messenger bag with an inside joke printed on it. If you can think it up, you can find a way to make it.

In Conclusion…

Never again will you have to worry if your t-shirts or underwear are the same as everyone else, and you can rest assured that your gifts will be the most unique and hilarious.

That surprise attack by Japanese planes on the complex of U.S. military installations in Hawaii was not just one of the most significant moments in American history, it was also one of the biggest news days. Today, the 70th anniversary of the attack, survivors talk about what they remember.

Around 8 a.m. on Dec. 7, 1941, Army Private Francis Stueve sat down to breakfast with the rest of the 89th Field Artillery battalion, stationed at Pearl Harbor.

“As quiet a day as you’ve ever seen,” Stueve remembers now. “Beautiful sunshine, nothing going on.”

Suddenly, not far from his seat in the dining hall: bang, bang, bang.

“Somebody says, ‘It’s the Chinese New Year,’ ” he said.

But then, a bullet broke through the glass window of the dining hall. Another flew just past Stueve and knocked the butter dish off the table.

Japan’s official declaration of war would come a day later, after the loss of 160 aircraft, 12 ships and 2,300 Americans, according to the Library of Congress — 70 years ago on Wednesday. Stueve, now 94, can describe his experience as if it were happening now:

Bewildered by the bullet, Stueve, then 24, and a few other men ran outside.

“We’re looking at the clouds, and watched a Japanese plane that had its signals on,” he said.

It was common for American planes to practice maneuvers, Stueve said, but he soon realized the Japanese plane was bent on attacking his base and his fellow soldiers.

What would it have been like to experience the chaos and confusion on Pearl Harbor that day? The attack that launched us into WWII. We should all be grateful for the veterans who fought and died in that war.

“This is a tragedy for many lives, and it will take all of us some time to come to grips with the full magnitude of all the damage that has been done,” the university’s new president, Rodney Erickson, told the board of trustees on Friday.
“Healing cannot occur until we understand how responsibilities to these children failed and how we can prevent such tragedies in the future,” he said.

Kenneth Frazier, a Penn State trustee, will chair the university’s special committee looking into the child sex abuse allegations at the school. Frazier told the board of trustees on Friday that the inquiry will be “rigorous, objective and impartial.”

Questions about how university officials responded to reports of alleged abuse cost coaching legend Paterno and university President Graham Spanier their jobs. Paterno has been criticized for not calling police, but he has not faced any legal charges.

Paterno reported the allegations to his boss. Pennsylvania’s attorney general said it appeared Paterno had met his obligations under state law, but critics have said the coach should have reported the suspected abuse to police.

That perceived lapse led to the coach’s downfall. The board of trustees fired Paterno and university President Graham Spanier on Wednesday night.

Defensive coordinator Tom Bradley took over as interim head coach. McQueary won’t be at Saturday’s Nebraska game because of “multiple threats,” the university athletics website said Thursday night.

Deborah Bradley peeked in to her infant’s room at around 10:30 PM on October 3rd and saw her 10 month old daughter Lisa sound asleep. At around 4 AM the next morning, Lisa’s father came home from work to find that the front door was locked, most of the lights were on in the house, and the main window in the home was wide open. Police were contacted soon after to report that Lisa had been abducted.

Steven Young, the Kansas City (MO) police chief and the man heading up the investigation suspected that the kidnapper entered the home through a bedroom window and left through the front door. While police and volunteers have canvassed the area, including a nearby landfill and city creek, there are no leads on the whereabouts of Lisa.

While tragic, this story took an unexpected turn when Young announced only three days into the investigation that the girl’s parents had stopped cooperating with the police. During the interim, Deborah Bradley, the girl’s mother, had failed a polygraph test she had volunteered to take.

According to Bradley, the authorities proceeded to accuse her of the crime. In her own words: “When they first questioned me,” she said, “once I couldn’t fill in gaps, it turned into, ‘You did it.’ And they put the picture down of her on the table and they said, ‘Look at your baby and do what’s right for her and just tell everybody where she is so she can come home.’ And I kept saying, ‘I don’t know, I don’t know, I don’t know.’”

Lisa’s parents deny that they stopped cooperating with the police, stating in a letter that “It’s just a lot of miscommunication, to be honest.”

This last Saturday, five days into the investigation, the parents of the abducted girl once again began to cooperate with the police.

My question is, if the parents really wanted to cooperate with the police, why all this drama? And how do you explain a failed polygraph test?

In a case that has been compared to O.J. Simpsons 1995 murder trial in terms of media attention, Casey Anthony has been found not guilty of murdering her young daughter, Caylee. Why has this case gotten so much media attention? If you are unfamiliar with the case, then here’s a brief break-down:

June 16, 2008 — 2 1/2-year-old Caylee Anthony is last seen alive leaving the home of her grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony, along with her mother Casey.
June 18, 2008 — Casey Anthony borrows a shovel from Brian Burner, a neighbor of George and Cindy Anthony. Burner says that Anthony returned it an hour later.
June 20, 2008 — Casey Anthony is captured in various photos partying at Fusion nightclub and participating in a “hard body contest.”
June 24, 2008 — Casey Anthony tells her father that Caylee is with the babysitter, Zanny.
July 15, 2008 — George and Cindy Anthony pick up Casey’s car from a tow yard. George Anthony observes a strong odor emanating from the vehicle. Later, back at the Anthony family home, Casey tells her mother and brother, Lee Anthony, that she hasn’t seen Caylee in a month and that a babysitter named Zanaida Fernandez Gonzalez (Zanny) kidnapped her.
July 15-16, 2008 — Casey Anthony takes police to the last place she says she saw Caylee. It turns out to be a vacant apartment. Authorities also take her to Universal Studios where she said she worked. She kept walking with them and then suddenly halted when she was almost at the door of what she claimed was her office. The police testified that she then suddenly stopped and stated that she really did not work there. In fact, supervisors told the police that she hadn’t worked there in more than two years.
October 14, 2008 — Casey Anthony indicted on charges of first-degree murder, along with aggravated manslaughter, aggravated child abuse and four counts of providing false information to law enforcement.
December 11, 2008 — The skeletal remains of Caylee Anthony are discovered in a wooded area not far from the Anthony family home.
January 22, 2009 — The Florida State Attorney’s Office releases 311 pages of new documents in the Caylee Anthony case. According to the documents, Caylee’s skeletal remains had been placed in a cloth laundry hamper bag, prior to being placed inside a black plastic garbage bag. The documents further reveal that a backpack with the word ‘adorable’ on it, a Winnie the Pooh blanket, a size 3 T-shirt, a pair of child’s striped white shorts and small, cloth-type, iron on letters were found inside the bag. A search-warrant affidavit which detailed the discovery of the remains also described a “heart shaped” sticker that had been placed on duct tape that was found wrapped around the child’s skull.
January 23, 2009 — Casey Anthony’s father, George Anthony, is escorted to a hospital by police after he allegedly sends suicidal text messages to family members.
April 14, 2009 — The State of Florida seeks the imposition of the Death Penalty.
September 17, 2009 — Casey Anthony’s defense team files a motion to dismiss the murder charges against her because the state allegedly failed to preserve evidence in the case.
November 6, 2009 — The state releases more discovery documents in the case, including reports that a bullet shell casing was found in the vicinity where Caylee Anthony’s remains were found.
December 11, 2009 — Casey Anthony breaks down in court when Jeff Ashton gives the State’s account of how Caylee was murdered.
December 18, 2009 — Judge Stan Strickland denies a request to take the death penalty off of the table in the prosecution of Casey Anthony.
April 6, 2010 — Prosecutors release copies of letters that were allegedly exchanged between Casey Anthony and a jailhouse companion. Within the letter, Anthony allegedly claims Zenaida Gonzalez does not exist. Prosecutors further allege the letter reveals details about Caylee’s remains that only her killer would be privy to.
April 23, 2010 — The state releases 300 pages of documents in the case, including FBI lab notes, which show investigators took apart four vacuum cleaners that had been taken from the Anthony family home. The vacuum cleaners were examined for human hair with characteristics of human decomposition. None were found.
July 15, 2010 — Judge Belvin Perry rules the jury will be permitted to hear a 911 call made by Casey Anthony’s mother, Cindy, in which she says the odor coming from her daughter’s car smells like a dead body.
July 30, 2010 — Casey Anthony’s defense attorneys spend three hours deposing Roy Kronk, the former Orange County employee who found Caylee Anthony’s remains in December 2008.
August 16, 2010 — George and Cindy Anthony’s attorney, Brad Conway, steps down because of a motion filed by Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez. The defense attorney claimed Conway was given unrestricted access to documents belonging to Texas EquuSearch, the missing person search and recovery group that searched for two-year-old Caylee Anthony. Baez claimed he was not given the same access to the documents.
September 28, 2010 — Judge Belvin Perry denies a request made by Casey Anthony’s defense attorneys to allow Dutch experts to do additional DNA testing on evidence that is to be submitted at trial. According to the Orlando Sentinel, Perry said he did not feel comfortable allowing evidence to leave the court’s jurisdiction.
February 11, 2011 — Judge Belvin Perry rules that Casey Anthony’s alleged history of lying and stealing is admissible in court.
April 27, 2011 — Judge Allows Chloroform Test evidence to be presented at trial, rejecting a motion by Casey Anthony. The prosecution claims tests revealed significant amounts of chloroform in the trunk of Casey’s car.
May 24, 2011 — Trial begins in Orlando, Florida. The prosecution shows jurors a photo during opening statements of Caylee Anthony alive and smiling, along with a picture of the girl’s skull as it was found in 2008. They say Anthony used duct tape to suffocate her. The defense contends the child actually drowned in her grandparents’ swimming pool. Jose Baez also went on to make accusations that George Anthony sexually molested his daughter.
June 17, 2011 — Casey Anthony defense expert contradicts state entomologist.
July 3, 2011 — Closing arguments are given.
July 5, 2011 — Casey Anthony acquitted of all felony charges (i.e., of first-degree murder, aggravated manslaughter, and aggravated child abuse), but is convicted of misdemeanor charges of giving false information to police.
July 7, 2011 – The judge sentences Casey Anthony to one year in jail and $1,000 in fines for each of the four counts of providing false information to a law enforcement officer. Based on three years credit for time served plus additional credit for good behavior, her release date was set for July 17, 2011.

Why did the case end this way? When the “Not Guilty” verdict was rendered, there was significant outcry among the general public and media that the jury made the wrong decision. People took to Facebook and Twitter, as well as other media outlets, to express their outrage. What do you think?

Rep. Anthony Weiner resigned from office Thursday, saying, “Unfortunately, the distraction that I have created” has made it “impossible” to continue his work in Congress. What distraction, you ask?

Here are key dates in the snowballing scandal:

- May 27, 2011: A lewd photo appears briefly on Weiner’s Twitter account. Conservative blogger Andrew Breitbart is first to report the image, which shows the bulging crotch of a man in his underwear. The story goes viral.

-May 30, 2011: The congressman tells reporters a hacker got control of his social networking account. “Look, this is a prank and not a terribly creative one,” Weiner says. A spokesman says the congressman has retained an attorney to look into the situation, but Capitol Police and the FBI tell CNN they are not investigating.

-May 31, 2011: Weiner repeatedly dodges reporters’ questions about the Twitter post, saying the matter is a distraction and undeserving of further attention. “I’m going to get back to the conversation I care about,” he says. Weiner declines to answer whether he is the man in the photo.

-June 1, 2011: Weiner tells CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that he did not post the picture and says he has hired a law firm to investigate. He continues to evade the question as to whether the now-notorious photo is of him.

-June 3, 2011: Weiner cancels a speech he was scheduled to make at the Wisconsin Democratic Party convention. Privately, members of the House Democratic leadership begin to push Weiner to end what many now see as an unwelcome diversion.

-June 6, 2011: In an abrupt about-face, a tearful Weiner apologizes for falsely claiming that his Twitter account was hacked and admits to having engaged in inappropriate relationships with several women he met online. He tells reporters he will not resign, nor does he plan to separate from his wife. “To be clear, the picture was of me, and I sent it,” Weiner says.

-House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi calls for an ethics committee investigation to determine if government resources were used or House rules violated in Weiner’s online relationships. The congressman claims he does not believe he used any government resources, but says he would “welcome and fully cooperate” with a probe.

Earlier in the day, conservative blogger Breitbart published new images that purportedly showed Weiner shirtless.

-June 7, 2011: Democratic leaders begin to turn on Weiner. “I wish there was some way I could defend him, but I can’t,” says Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada. Two House Democrats say they will donate campaign contributions from the embattled congressman to charity.

-June 8, 2011: Tim Kaine, the former chairman of the Democratic National Committee, calls on Weiner to resign, becoming the first prominent Democrat to publicly demand his resignation. A photo that blogger Breitbart claims shows the naked genitals of Weiner finds its way to the Internet.

-June 9, 2011: Sen. Patrick Leahy adds his voice to calls for Weiner to resign from his seat in the House. Weiner says he has no plans to step down and that his wife wants him to stay in Congress, according to a Democratic source. A Marist College poll shows that a majority of registered voters in Weiner’s district — 56% — don’t believe he should resign.

CNN learns that Weiner and his wife, Huma Abedin, are expecting their first child.

-June 11, 2011: The head of the Democratic National Committee calls for Weiner’s resignation, as does House Democratic leader Pelosi and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chair Steve Israel.

Weiner decides to seek treatment “to focus on becoming a better husband and healthier person” and will ask for a “short leave of absence” from Congress, his spokeswoman says. It was not clear what type of treatment he would undergo.

-June 12, 2011: TMZ publishes photos of Weiner, in various states of undress, which he apparently took of himself in a locker room. TMZ reports that they were taken in the House members’ gym and sent to at least one woman. Weiner’s office had no immediate comment, and CNN could not confirm the details as reported by TMZ.

-June 16, 2011: Rep. Anthony Weiner resigned from office, saying, “Unfortunately, the distraction that I have created” has made it “impossible” to continue his work in Congress.

He apologized “for the personal mistakes I have made and for the embarrassment I have caused” to his neighbors, his constituents, and “particularly to my wife Huma.”

Weiner said he had “hoped to be able to continue the work” that he was elected to do, but it became clear that was impossible.

There were some cheers as Weiner walked into the room to make his announcement. There also were some cheers as he announced his resignation, with one person yelling “pervert.” Some other insults also were yelled out while he spoke.

If you haven’t heard about the recent Rapture scare, then you are lucky that it all ended up being a crock. Harold Camping, the man who predicted that the world would end on May 21, 2011, is now claiming that a “spiritual” judgment had occurred on that date, and that the physical Rapture would occur on October 21, 2011, simultaneous with the destruction of the universe by God. How does he know this? He made a bible calculator/timeline that tells him when the world was created as well as when it will end. Followers of Camping claimed that around 200 million people (approximately 3% of the world’s population) would be raptured. Those are not good odds for you and me. Luckily, you may have noticed that we’re all still here.

Camping said his company would not return money donated by followers to publicize the failed May 21 prediction, stating: “We’re not at the end. Why would we return it?”

Of course, Harold. We get it.

Most people who think about home business know about the electronic-trading scene. The first traces of e-trading came into the American market in the early 1990s and have since developed into a massive, diverse market based in the trading of securities, fixed income, and stock trade. Ever since e-trading leaped on to the scene it’s been constantly growing at a rapid rate and is one of the most effective ways of breaking into a self-managed and self motivated home based business.

Because of the fact that the industry has grown so much, a need for a regulatory structure has become more and more apparent in the last few years. Congress recently ruled to have a regulatory structure put in place, and the SEC/CFTC are both involved in their own aspects of making this need a reality. Some of the bigger names in the e-trading world have been offered a part in the goings-on in the form of comment letters on the proceedings and the proposed rules. Drafting and revisions of rules put in place are to be taken into consideration as the regulatory system is meant to structure and help the companies in charge of the majority of the market, not hinder their progress.

Another concern is that the business and industry leaders are free to operate the migration and shifting of their capital gain out of any country that they hold citizenship in. This means that if the regulatory structure is too strict and hinders a large business capability to give their customers the best price and best ability to grow their own capital, the leaders will simply move their bases off-shore. As e-trading has been such a large portion of the recent positive development of the American economy, this would be a very bad sign for those placing the regulatory structure. With this being said, the regulatory structure must still be firm so as to provide a basis for good business.

You know those people that Jay Leno interviews on his segments of JayWalking? Those people who don’t know for example the name of the Vice President (Joe Biden)? Or maybe they don’t know the name of the countries we are at war in (Iraq and Afghanistan)? Now here is the real question- have you ever felt like those people? Well don’t worry too much about it. You may be kind of dumb but now you have found Profmaker.com where I will educate you on world events. Periodically we will review what’s happening in Washington D.C. and other world centers, major world-happenings, and probably some pop-culture things as well. This blog will give you the most important points of the news, and I’ll try to write things so they are a little more entertaining then newspapers and often from a different perspective. I’ll also link to other good websites, so check back here often. Soon one day you will not be that person that Jay Leno makes fun of. If those people had been educated then maybe we wouldn’t have to turn to TBS to watch Conan O’brien, he would just be on the Tonight Show where he belongs. Thanks a lot people.
